Areas of Interest

Teaching is privilege rather than a job.  I always tell my students if they can find work they enjoy doing whether or not they are paid, they have found my career. I thrive on communicating with students and love seeing their eyes brighten when they learn a new concept and find an appreciation for an old one. My family time includes church activities, weekly movies, simple dinners, and camping trips.  My collections include music, books, dolls, gnomes, cut glass, and antiques.
